FAQ’s: Real Estate & Corona Virus

Although Ray White Diamond Creek is still very much open for business, we’re working just a little differently.  With the introduction of Stage 2 and now Stage 3 Restrictions to control the spread of Coronavirus (COVID-19), our agents have had to answer a number of important questions.  Therefore, we’ve prepared answers to these questions and we’d like to share them with you.

Q1. Are our agents working and available to speak to?

Even though our office in Diamond Creek is closed to the public, our agents remain contactable via phone, email, social media or even video conferencing.  Whether it’s about one of our listings, the current state of the market, getting an appraisal on your property or any other property related advice, please reach out to them.

Q2. What if I’m looking to purchase a new property, how does that work?

Although there are limitations on how you view a property in these current times, the property market is still very active and we’re still experiencing strong results.  If you’re interested in one of our listings, our agents can organise an appointment for you to view the property privately.  In addition to the high-quality professional photography and floor plans that you see of our listings online, we can also offer virtual tours of our properties.  Our agents will be more than happy in facilitating these tours, so please get in touch.

Q3. What if a property is listed for auction?

A number of our properties are still listed to go under the hammer in the coming weeks.  We have reverted to running our auctions via a Live Digital Auction format rather than the traditional way we ran auctions prior to COVID-19.  Potential bidders will have the opportunity to register to participate prior to auction day and will then be able to watch, bid, buy and exchange on live property auctions. This service will ensure bidders can still participate and bid at an auction remotely.

Q4. I’m interested in knowing the current value of my property, can I still get an appraisal?

Yes, definitely.  We can still appraise your property.  Our agents can offer virtual or digital appraisals.  Please contact one of our agents to discuss how we can do this.

Q5. I’m interested in listing my property, is this still possible?

Our agency is continuing to list properties and our agents are still busily securing great deals for their clients.  Ray White Diamond Creek is backed by Australia’s largest real estate group and as such, please be assured that it remains business as usual in our office at Diamond Creek, with our entire support team continuing to work remotely at home.  The priority of our team is to continue to serve our clients needs, whilst at the same time delivering on achieving exceptional results for them.
